Antic Earthworks

Richard Bridge

Is fast becoming the country's best contemporary didje player. Richard started playing didje in 1995 and is now performing in front of big crowds at places like Sidmouth Festival and the ever popular Didjin Devon. Richard has a fantastic CD of his work out called "Carpet Gypsy", which topped Didje & Co Mag's charts for several weeks!

Charlie McMahon Didj Discovery

Charlie has been playing didje for some 45 years and has taken the didje to an all new level with his own creation, the Didjeribone, and the Face Bass. Instead of a microphone the didje is recorded with the Face Bass - a seismic sensor that records sounds inside the mouth. Charlie came up with this idea because he realised that the didjeridu drone tone is too soft to be heard within the loud percussion and drum sounds of electronic dance music.

Rob Mantz

Rob was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and has been playing the Didje since 1992. Now living in London he's a regular performer in Europe and has become an excellent didje player, specializing in traditional playing techniques.

Dyframix

Nick Burman and Stef.M have created the dance music act Dyframix; a fusion of Didje, dance music and acoustic guitar. Check out their website for forthcoming tour dates and more info about the band.
